It was designed by Macintosh programmer extraordinaire Bill Appleton and the Symmetry design team. HyperDA makes it possible for Macintosh users to browse through and obtain information from HyperCard stacks without leaving the application from which they wish to do so. Although HyperDA is not an attempt to reproduce HyperCard completely as a desk accessory, it does support all of the HyperCard functions that make it possible to browse through stacks. In addition, it allows the user to: • copy text or graphics from a card to the Clipboard for transfer to other stacks and applications; • convert the HyperCard stack’s full-screen card layout to a movable, resizable window.
